What is SendDeck?

SendDeck turns the documents you send (proposals, pitch decks, portfolios, catalogues, long reports, photo galleries and large files) into trackable links. You see who opened them, how long they spent on each slide, where they are, and whether they came back, and you get alerted the moment it happens.

Does the person I send it to need an account?

No. They open a normal web link in any browser, on desktop or mobile. There is nothing to install or sign up for.

What can I upload?

PDFs up to 300 MB, ZIPs of up to 500 slide images, images directly, or a Google Slides presentation imported from Drive. Portrait PDFs open in a document reader with search; galleries open in a full-screen lightbox. Large files of any of 25 professional formats can be sent as a tracked file transfer.

How will I know when someone opens my document?

You choose: an email, an SMS, a Slack message, or an in-app notification, each showing where the reader is. You are alerted on the first open and again when someone returns after a few hours.

Can I protect confidential documents?

Yes. Add a password to a document, set expiry dates on links, turn downloads on or off, and switch any link off instantly. Slides and files are never available at a public URL.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, a free-forever plan with no card required. Every new workspace also starts with a 14-day trial. Paid plans add more documents, team members and features such as visitor location and SMS alerts.

Do you store visitor IP addresses?

No. Visitor IPs are hashed with a secret salt before anything is stored. We keep the approximate location and discard the address.
